Which grades are these Canadian money worksheets for? Grade 1 names coins and bills and compares their values. Grade 2 counts collections of coins and bills. Grade 3 makes change from a cash payment. Grade 4 finds the total cost of several items and the change.

Why are there no pennies? Canada stopped making pennies in 2013, and cash payments are rounded to the nearest 5 cents. The worksheets use the coins children handle today, so every amount in cents is a multiple of 5.

Do the worksheets follow the Ontario curriculum? Yes. Each sheet is mapped to the Financial Literacy expectations (F1.1 in Grades 1 to 3 and F1.2 in Grade 4) of the Ontario 2020 Math Curriculum.
